Rane have announced Serato Scratch Live - a product very similar to Stanton's Final Scratch. See - I told you it was the year for scratch controllers. 8)
We've know about this for nearly a week now but it's appeared on the Stanton forum so we figure it's OK to share with you guys - Final Scratch is finally making it to Windows.
This is about as upfront as it gets. The event isn't even over and I've been sent a link to audio from the Vestax QFO night in LA - still happening as I post this message.
Numark's PR department have been busy. News just hit the skratchworx inbox about a whole load of new products. A portable deck (PT01), a USB mixer (DXM01), a dual DVD deck (DVD01) plus updated info on the 5000FX mixer and CDX. Some other less turntablist specific releases as well.
2003 is dead - bring on 2004! Only 4 months old and skratchworx has already made a big impression on the scene. Read on to see how you can help to shape it's future. :D
I think I've found a bug with this news script I use. I think I've pinned it down to adding new stories beginning with "skratchworx". Repairs have been made - holler if you come across anything unusual...
Bristol was the venue for the final QFO tour date in the UK. Skratchworx paid a visit and was suitably impressed. And fell down some dodgy steps and got pissed wet through as well...
Over the next few days, the news page will change. It's becoming big (that's good right?) but can take a while to download. So It'll slowly be moving towards a short story/full story format so you can pick and choose what you want to read. Also for people who like to link, you'll be able to link directly to a story rather than the whole news page. And probably at some point I'll start an archive as well.
Just bear with me over the coming days - it's still useable but perhaps a little rough around the edges.
Not the first but another glowing review for veteran turntablist and all round old schooler (yes - he's even older than me) Beej and his new fangled Slikmats.
