Shure in new DJ Product shocker

shure srh750DJ headphones

While many DJs kneel at the alter of Shure carts, they've been a tad quiet on the DJ side of things in recent years. Even the carts are hidden somewhere deep in their website (although www.needlz.com still works). But bugger me if they haven't gone and brought out some DJ specific headphones. Say hi to the SRH750DJ headphones.

Sweet looking phones. I wonder how they match up with the Technics headphones?:eek:

You'd have to pry my Senn HD25SPs out of my cold dead hands...

I'm loving my Technics cans but these do look quite more durable than your average cans. Waiting to test these out in store, though my Tech's aren't going anywhere soon. :-D

if they are half as good as SRH840 (i ditched my long serving and well loved HD25's in favour for a pair for studio use) then they are onto a winner. I have not picked up my 25'S since...

Love the colour-coded left and right earcups. That'll be great when you're too lazy to look for L and R on the earcups themselves. As long as they come with the standard Shure in-ear bud quality, then all will be good :)

@dannyd

They aren't wireless...

My guess is they just took the cord out for the pictures since it's more visually pleasing that way. By the way, you wouldn't happen to be Z103.5's Danny D by chance? ;)

padded ear cups swivel 90 degrees... just isn't wide enough as to why many of the older headphones snap.

Their earbuds are sound phenomenal and have lasted me over 5 years now. I hope they're just as good as making regular cans.

Woo I've been looking for something to replace my V700's. This could be the ticket. Giz, send em my way to review, ha ha.

I was listening to the other two new headphones from Shure.

They were very very impressive in sound, weight feel and they seemed to me to have very good buildquality.
I think that we have a HD25 challanger here.

I will try to get my hands on a pair to add to my HD450 and HP1000......

Whoa! These sound like an amazing idea. Especially because of the replaceable cord (would be even better if it turns out to not be a proprietary jack!;). Such an innovation should be a common place in headphones but I'm sure it's not because the manufacturers make wads of loot on purchased-failed-then-repurchased headphones. I'm gonna keep an eye out for these.
