If you're a regular round these parts, you'll have seen the birth and subsequent rise of Dylan - offspring of brother in law NdB and new baby DJ sensation. Like his dad, he loves messing around with toys, or as we grown ups like to call them, expensive to replace consumer electronics. And when faced with Numark's NS7 in the skratchlab, there was little we could do to keep him from quite literally playing and drooling all over it.
You'll have to forgive the image quality - my video camera has been threatening to die for a year now and finally has, so this was taken with my phone. The camera situation is being resolved as we speak, but this was just too good to miss.
The review is about halfway through and is epic. While I submit the copy to Numark and Serato for fact checking, I'll shoot some video, and due to the plethora of loaner cameras that have come my way, I'll shoot multi-angle for added fun and extra detail.
I'm not giving too much away here, but I quite literally love the NS7. I've found nothing really wrong with it - more a small selection of could be betters and a few ideas for improvements. I know it's not for everyone and some will just hate it because they can, be it the all in one nature or just the logo. But believe me when I say that it really has been worth the wait and I think will be full of surprises for people.

I had the mixer faceplate off - this seems to have a solid cast subframe. My guess is blending might take some time. All the faders all swap out (and yes an Innofader fits all 3 slots but will need some further research from AI to come up with a proper fitting plan), but my belief is that the build of this is seriously solid enough to last quite some time.

@DjSteveMixx - If you install Itch on a Serato computer, you do not need to rebuild overviews. Everything will come up in Itch automatically no additional configs (even the crates).
