When Akai and Ableton decided to get together and do the dirty R&D dance of love, you just knew something good was going to happen. And thus far, the scene has been generally been fawning over the lovechild that is the APC40. We've shown you pictures, and you've lapped up the PR, but now you can watch the NAMM demo. Eric McGregor from Akai is clearly fluent in Abletalk and guides you gently the hand through the buttontastic APC40.
The quality right now is watchable. Hopefully I'll have a higher quality version in due course. But by that time (probably a few days), you'll probably have got bored of this and crave the next serving of controller hotness.

Wow...another proprietary midi translator for midi feedback.
If someone doesn't come up with a standard, i can see this getting ugly for the industry.
